Eligibility Criteria for YSR Free Crop Insurance

Here are the Eligibility Criteria for taking the benefits of this scheme given below :

• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh.
• The applicant must be a farmer and he/she has not taken any other insurance for crops in the state.

Benefits of AP Free Crop Insurance

1. Under this scheme, free crop insurance will be provided to around 10 lacs farmers.
2. For taking this Insurance no premium account will be given by the farmers.
3. Around 20 to 22 crops will be counted under this crop insurance.
4. This Benefit will be given to only farmers so they will have no fear of crop loss for any reason whether it is a flood or anything else.
5. The government will provide Insurance for around 45 lacs hectares of land.
