Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Card Release Date, Amount Release Date: Jagananna Vidya Vasathi Scheme was implemented by Andhra Pradesh State Government to empower education.
Under this scheme, the students will receive financial aid of Rs 20,000. In addition to 100 % fee reimbursement to students belonging to the SC, ST, BC, Minorities, Kapu, EBC and differently-abled categories and those pursing post-matric courses, the government will provide an annual financial support of ₹20,000 to each of the beneficiaries under the Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme. Funds to the tune of ₹4,962.3 crore were allocated for it.
Vidya Deevena Eligibility
- The complete fee reimbursement is ensured for the students.
- Students will get a sum of Rs 20,000 every year for fee, hostel, and food facilities.
- Students of Government, Aided, and Private Colleges are eligible to apply for this scheme.
- The family’s annual income should be less than Rs 2.5 Lakh per anum.
- Beneficiaries can have the wetland below 10 acres/ agricultural land below 25 acres/ or wetland and agricultural land under 25 acres.
- If anyone of the family working for a government job, or if anyone in the family are availing pension, in such case, the students are ineligible to apply this scheme. Sanctuary workers are exempted from this.
- The beneficiary’s family members should not have any 4 wheeler [Car, Auto, Taxi etc].
- If anyone of the family members are paying property tax, the candidates are ineligible to apply for this scheme.
- Candidates having less than 1500 Square Feet house in city are also eligible to apply this scheme.

All the Eligible students those belong to schedule cast schedule tribe for backward classes; other backward classes (SC, ST, BC, and EBC) and minority will get benefit of this scheme. So the students 2000 pursuing it I will get a financial support that is scholarship of 10,000 rupees. Other than that students of Polytechnic will get a scholarship of 15000 rupees. On the other hand the students pursuing degree will get 20000 rupees under the Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme.
