Jagananna Thodu Scheme Street Hawkers / Vendors Application Form, jagananna thodu Eligibility Criteria, Guidelines, jagananna thodu last date:- As promised in the manifesto for providing financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to street hawkers and vendors who belong to the poorest of the poor category we are introducing the Jagananna Thodu scheme in the budget. This scheme will provide financial assistance of approximately Rs 930 crore to an estimated 7 lakh beneficiaries in the rural areas and 2.3 lakh in urban areas.
The Jagananna Thodu scheme for small vendors was approved as well through which they will get Rs 10,000 as interest-free loans every year. The scheme, meant mainly for the artisan and pushcart vendors, would be rolled out in October.

The Minister said that State cabinet also approved Jagananna thodu scheme where interest free term loan of Rs10,000 per year would be given to hawkers, street vendors, artisans engaged in traditional handicrafts from banks to expand their business. The cabinet approved to launch this scheme in October and nearly 9 lakh people would be benefited through this scheme. Income support for street hawkers and vendors. Cabinet approved YSR Sampoorna Poshana and YSR Sampoorna Poshana plus schemes to supply nutritious food to Pregnant Women and children across the state, irrespective of their health profile. YSR Sampoorna Poshana plus scheme is intended to supply nutritious food in 77 tribal mandals. Cabinet has given nod to spend 1863.11crore to supply nutritious food to pregnant women and children belonging to BPL families across the state.

The Minister said the YSRCP government was clearing the Rs 60,000 crore debts to the industries left by Naidu during his regime and he drove the state into a debt trap of Rs 2.75 lakh crore. Is this the good governance that Naidu talks about, he asked. The credit goes to Naidu to have made the state 104 and 108 ambulance services redundant and totally non-existant. If anybody used to call for the services they used to either being told that the ambulances were under repair or that there was shortage of oil, he said. Now Chief Minister YS jagan Mohan Reddy is revive the services by launching 1,088 ambulances today.

Has the TDP ever thought of introducing such a large contingent of ambulances and why is Naidu hatching conspiracies even in the provision of welfare measures to the weaker sections, the Minister asked. Nobody can stop the government from going ahead with its welfare agenda for the poor, he said. The Minister said the government is planning to give 30 lakh house site pattas to poor women to mark the birth anniversary of former chief minister the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Naidu seems to be politicising even the distribution of houses to the poor. Is this the kind of politics you pay, he asked.
