The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr Jagan Mohan Raddy has announced the YSR Vahan Mitra Scheme(వైఎస్సార్‌ వాహన మిత్ర) 2020. This Scheme launched on 4 June 2020 on the Official Portal.

Under this Scheme, owners of Auto rickshaw, drivers, taxi, maxi cab driver would be provided Rs 10000 Financial assistance. He said that 2,36,344 beneficiary under-identified for the AP Vahana Mitra Online Yojana.

Eligibility Criteria

All the desirous applicants who wish to avail of this scheme must fulfill the eligibility criteria given. After launching this scheme, the AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy Garu has spoken with the Women people via Video Call and asked their feelings about the scheme.

The CM Jaganmohan Reddy Garu has especially pointed out that already eight lakh Widows and Single women beneficiaries got the pension from the state govt and they would obtain the additional benefit under the Jagananna Cheyutha Scheme. 

1. This scheme can be availed only by the permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh.
2. Only women applicants have been made eligible to apply under this scheme.
3. Only applicants belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes or Minorities are eligible to apply under this scheme.
4. This scheme can be availed only by women between 45 and 60 years of age.
