So here is good news for the shepherd of Telangana. Telangana Government has recently announced a new scheme which is the Telangana Sheep Distribution scheme. Under this scheme, the Telangana government will distribute sheep. This distribution was supposed to be earlier but because of Covid-19, it could not be found. Now the government has decided to distribute these sheep to eligible people.

TS Sheep Distribution Scheme

Guys, you might know that the Telangana Sheep Distribution Scheme is also known as Gorrela Pampini Pathakam. It is the official name of his scheme, in which you will get a Free sheep for the business purpose. As you know this is the 1st phase of this scheme, and Telangana CM KCR Inaugurate this scheme soon. Right now n=only notification is released by the concerned department.

This would be the first phase of distribution but very soon the second phase will also be going to happen. The government has already allocated a budget for it. To know eligibility, the procedure to apply and documents required, etc. read this article till the end.

• Aadhar card of shepherd
• Income certificate of Applicant as this scheme is applicable to the poor shepherds of the state
• Cast certificate of the applicant ( because this scheme is applicable to Kuruma and Yadava communities)
• Birth certificate of Applicant
• Phone number of applicant

Eligibility criteria of Free Sheep Distribution

To know the eligibility criteria of this scheme, read this article below :

• Applicant should be 18 years or above 18 years old.
• The applicant who wants the advantage of this scheme applicant should be a permanent citizen of Telangana state.
• Because this scheme is only applicable to Kuruma and Yadava communities, so applicant must belong to these Communities.
• Most importantly applicant must be a shepherd.

Benefits of Telangana Sheep Distribution Scheme

These are some major points and benefits of this scheme:-

• There are around 7.5 lacs shepherds belonging to around 8,000 sheep producer societies in Telangana.
• 10,000 crore budget is sanctioned to help financially, the Kuruma and Yadava communities.
• These communities will get around 75% subsidy on these sheep units.
• To get these sheep units, the people of the Kuruma and Yadava communities will get some financial assistance during this pandemic time which is a very necessary step taken by the government to help these communities.
• There will be 20 sheep in one unit.
• The government of Telangana will give Insurance of rupees 5,000 under this scheme in case of the death of any sheep.

Check below for the application procedure:-

• Visit the official website of sheep and goat development cooperated federation limited of Telangana state government.
• On the home page click on the registration option.
• Then you will get the Registration form on your mobile screen.
• Now fill this form with necessary details such as Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, and address.
• Now attach all necessary documents such as cast Certificate and birth certificate etc.
• Now after verification click on submit button and this is how you will be successfully registered for taking Benefits of this scheme.

Note: You can check the Beneficiaries list anytime by login Into the official website and on the home page click on check Beneficiaries list by entering your village and district you can find your name in this list.

Till now this scheme is not Officially launched. As per sources, this scheme will be launched on 16th January 2023. After that, the government of Telangana can announce any official portal to apply online or offline.

TS Sheep Distributions Beneficiary List

The official Announcement / Notification is released on the 16th of January. Till then you have to wait for the Beneficiary list. When the application procedure filling date is over, the department will check all the applications. After that, they will make a List of eligible shepherds. Then the beneficiary list will be uploaded to the official portal.
