Telangana government starts the insurance scheme named TS Nethanna Bima Scheme for the handloom weaver in the state. Only the handloom weavers are getting the benefits under the scheme.  In the state, there are so many handloom weavers who are working for their daily needs. TS Nethanna Bima Scheme

Telangana Nethanna Bima Scheme is launched by the Telangana Municipal administration and urban development Minister. The announcement for the scheme is holding in 2023. The main motive to launch this scheme is to provide insurance to handloom weavers.

All the handloom weavers are eligible for the issuance. The state government provides the insurance to the beneficiary and also protects their family. Any beneficiary is they are dying due to some illness and dies through accidents then the government provides Rs. 5 lakhs to the family of the beneficiary under the scheme. The amount of the insurance is provided to the nominee of the beneficiary. The family members get the insurance amount within 10 days after the death of the beneficiary.

All the process of the scheme is under the handloom and textile department of the nodal agency. Departments also takes care of their workers under the scheme.

 The target of the government is to cover all the handloom weavers and the budget of the government under the scheme is 50 crore rupees.  After launching the scheme state government already give out the 50 % of the total budget to the department for the insurance of the beneficiary.

 With the help of the scheme families of the handloom weavers become safe and beneficiaries also help their families even after their death. TS Nethanna Bima Scheme is same as the Rythu Bima scheme.

Under the scheme there are 80,000 workers of Handloom are covered by the state government. For the handloom weaver state government of Telangana also starts the other scheme like the Chenetha Mitra scheme and Nethanna Ku Cheyutha scheme. Both the scheme is also for the Handloom weavers. In this scheme, governments provide them 40 % subsidy.  The beneficiary also gets 16 % financial aid and 8 % on their savings pay. Forget the benefits with all these scheme beneficiaries registered under the scheme. Only the registered candidates get the insurance and benefited from the government scheme.

Objectives of Nethanna Bima

Telangana state government starts the Telangana Nethanna Bima Scheme to provide financial aid to the handloom weavers. With the help of the scheme, workers developed their lives. Eligibility Criteria For Beneficiaries

Only eligible candidates apply for the TS Nethanna Bima Scheme. :-

• The candidate is a permanent citizen of the Telangana state.
• The age of the candidates is between 18 to 59 years old.
• Candidates have experience in the Rythu Bima insurance scheme.

Required Documents for Registration

For the registration, there are some required documents to have the candidate:-

• Residential certificate of the applicant.
• Photocopy of the Aadhar card.
•  Email Id of the applicants.
•  Applicant’s current mobile number.
• The entire required document is submitted to the handloom and textile department for Telangana.
