Today we are going to tell you about Tamil Nadu State Government’s new welfare scheme. This is a very useful scheme for the students of the 11th and 12th classes of Tamil Nadu. The chief minister of Tamil Nadu Edappadi K Palaniswami has announced Tamil Nadu Free Bicycle Scheme. As from the name of this scheme we can assume that students will get free bicycles under this scheme. 10 districts of Tamil Nadu will be able to get the benefits of free bicycles distribution.

So the students of this 10 districts can apply for free bicycles to the headmaster of their school. Students of private schools, government schools, and government added schools, any School’s students can take benefit of this scheme.

This scheme is launched to encourage students to go to school daily and to increase the status of education in Tamil Nadu, so that students who want to continue their studies but, if school is too far and students have no any vehicle to go to school, then they decide to left their studies.

Students Documents Required

So here is the list of documents given below:-

• Student’s Aadhar Card details (Because it is the one of important document).
• Residential proof (Aadhaar card, Pan Card, Ration Card and Electricity bill etc).
• Income Certificate of applicant’s family.
• Cast certificate of Applicant (because this scheme is mainly launched for schedule castes students, schedule tribes students and backward classes students).
• Qualification details of students (Aa it is available for only 11th class students, so you should have to provide your 10th mark sheet).
• Passport size photograph of applicant.
• Registered mobile number of applicant.

It is very important to know about Eligibility Criteria for taking the Benefits of any of government scheme:-

• So it is very common that applicant should be permanent resident of Tamil Nadu.
• Only those students an apply for this scheme who have not bicycle.
• Annual income of applicant’s family should not more than government has decide to give these bicycles for the students.
• If the student belongs to the same area, there is a school, then he is not eligible.
• Only students of class 11th are eligible to take benefits of this scheme.
• Student who lives in school’s hostel can not apply for this scheme.
• Students of Schedule tribes, schedule tribes and backward classes will be the main focus of this scheme.
