Under Odisha Free Laptop Distribution 2024 the state government of Odisha has promised to distribute free laptops to all the meritorious students of the 12th Class.

Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana List

Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana is meant for the meritorious students of 12th / +2 classes. This year State government of Odisha has decided to distribute about 15,000 laptops to the students.

These laptops will be distributed to students of the 12th class science stream, arts stream, vocational students, Sanskrit students, and Commerce stream.

This scheme is launched throughout the State and will benefit 15,000 students. Laptops or tablets will be distributed to all meritorious students under Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana.

All eligible students, whose names will appear in Odisha Free Laptop Distribution Merit List, will be distributed laptops by December 2019.

Under Biju Yuva Sashaktikaran Yojana, laptops will be distributed to all sections like – Science, Arts, Commerce, Sanskrit, and Business students.

30 nodal centers have been set up to distribute laptops to all meritorious students

Higher Education Department Government of Odisha is going to distribute free laptops among the students who passed the 12th standard examination from CHSE, Odisha, Vocational students passing from CHSE (O), and Upashastri students passing from Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri.

Students have to collect the laptops from the principal of Nodal centers before 31st December 2019.

After 31st December 2019 students will not entertain as after that the students whose name is in the supplementary list will consider.

Eligibility Criteria of Odisha Laptop Yojana

• As the scheme has been developed and funded by the Odisha government, it is obvious that only those people will be selected who are legal residents of the state are.
• The scheme will only offer free laptop or tablet to the students who get good marks in the final examination of 12th.
• The state government hand announced that only those students will be selected who managed to score 70% or more in the final examination. But this cutoff may be changed if deemed fit by the state higher education authority.
• It has been mentioned in the scheme details that all students must fall within the age bracket of 18 years and 25 years. Students below and above this mark will be left out of this scheme.
• All students who applied for the final CHSE examination will be taken into consideration. Apart from this, Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University has also been included in this scheme. Only those candidates who receive the Upashastri degree will be considered under this project.
