Shyamali Chauhad scheme 2023 was launched by the Science Technology and Climate Change Department. The scheme was launched by the CM of Assam in the Institutional Plantation Program. आसाम के मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य में. एक नई योजना का शुभारंभ किया है जिसका नाम है श्यामली चौहान योजना। इस योजना की शुरुआत मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा 17 जुलाई 2023 को की गई है.
योजना के अंतर्गत अभी तक 24882 लोगों ने अपना रजिस्ट्रेशन करवा दिया है. इस योजना के अंतर्गत अभी तक कुल जगह जहां पर पेड़ लगाए गए हैं वह 1116 हेक्टेयर है. इनमें 6082 मेडिकल प्लांट, 11105 फल वाले पौधे, 11105 फूल वाले पौधे एवं 2027 लैंडस्केप है. पूरे विश्व भर में प्रदूषण की परेशानी को देखते हुए, अब भारत भी अधिक से अधिक वृक्ष लगाने की ओर अग्रसर है. इसी क्षेत्र में काम करते हुए वृक्षारोपण के विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन समय-समय पर किया जाता है
