We are back again with a new scheme which is started by Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. The name of this scheme is Viklang Scooty Yojana. In which all the handicapped people will be benefited from a free society.

This scooty will have a three-wheeler so that physically disabled people can easily handle this. As we all know many handicapped people in the country are depending on other people in their families. Many of them are not rich enough so they could buy a vehicle themselves. So they could not buy a scooter for physically disabled people.

There are some people who are 50 to 60% handicapped but if we provide vehicles for them they can easily handle the vehicle. So the main objective of Rajiv Gandhi’s foundation for launching this scheme is to make handicapped people self-dependent.

And after getting this three-wheel Scooty they will become as equal as a normal person. They can go anywhere on their own. They will not need any person with them and they can do their small work on their own.

Viklang Scooty Yojana Kya Hai?

Viklang Scooty Yojana is initially stated under the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. In this project Viklang (Handicapped) will get Free Scooty with 2 Extra Tier Support specially created for Handicapper will be distributed. If you want to take benefit from this project, you need to Apply on the official website.

First of all, you need to understand why the Rajiv Gandhi foundation has been started and what services it is providing to the people. There are around 600 million people or more than this number who are living with physical disabilities. These disabilities are different for every person. Some are physically challenged by their eyes, some from ears, some from legs, some from their brain, and others from any other problem.

And we are living in a country where people are also judged by their physical appearance. In such conditions, physically disabled people find it difficult to get an education and jobs as well. According to the census, 2011 there are around 27 million people who are physically disabled. In rural areas, the ratio of physically disabled people is more than in cities.

The Rajiv Gandhi Foundation believes that if they will provide sources to these people they can get a better education and employment opportunities. So Rajiv Gandhi foundation started a program named Rajiv Gandhi Access to Opportunities in 1992. Under this program, the foundation started to provide specially designed vehicles to physically disabled people. Divyang Scooty Eligibility Criteria

Follow the given eligibility criteria because for getting the benefits of the scheme you have to fulfill some eligibility criteria.

Any candidate from all over India can apply for this scheme. For applying to the scheme applicant should be 550% handicapped or more than it.
The physically disabled person should have the license of a lightweight Wheeler.
Applicants should be between 18 to 45 years old. Applicants should have age proof before applying for the scheme.
The applicant’s annual family should not be more than 2 lacs and he/she should belong to an economically weaker section group.
Applicant should not have any other vehicle in his / her name.

Age Proof (Birth Certificate or 10th Marks sheet)
Physically Disability Certificate showing how disabled the person is
Eye vision Certificate ( in case of eyes disability)
Passport size photograph of the applicant

Handicapped Scooty Scheme Application Form

Download the application form from this link and take a printout of it.
Now after taking the printout of the application form, fill this form with all asking details about yourself.
After filling out the form attach all necessary documents mentioned in the application form.
Paste your photograph and after sign, you can also post this application form on the official address of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.
You can also submit this application form to your nearest Rajiv Gandhi Foundation office.
After Submitting your application form you will get a receipt from the concerned officer.
After receiving your request to get Viklang Scooty Yojana, the foundation will share the information regarding when you will receive this three-wheeler Scooty.
