Eligibility Criteria to take benefits of scheme is given below :
- Animal keeper should belong to Madhya Pradesh.
- Animal keeper should have APL and BPL Card
- All Dairy Cattle and other animal can include in this insurance scheme.

- People have to inform the department within the 24 hours after death of any animal to take insurance from this scheme.
- Doctor of animal husbandry would come and check the reason of animal’s death.
- Then department have to submit the insurance claim within one month.
- Insurance claim should be given within 15 days after report sent to department.
- Insurance premium will be 3% for one year and 7% for three years.
- APL families will get 50 % subsidy on insurance premium for Pashudan Bima Yojana.
- BPL, ST,SC and economically weaker will get 70% subsidy on premium.
