Qualification For Fireman and Driver Vacancy

Applicants for the available vacancies must have successfully completed their 10+2 education from a recognized educational board. Additionally, a valid driving license is required for candidates applying for the post of Fireman Driver.

Physical Qualification

Load carrying: (Only for firefighters)
To transport 63 kilograms of sand in a bag for 100 meters
Qualified for up to 60 seconds
After 60 seconds, you are disqualified

Rope Climbing: (Only For Firefighters)
Each contender must climb to a height of 6 (six) meters from ground level using just his hands in a maximum of three attempts.

Swimming (100 meters): (For both firefighters and firefighter drivers)
If traversed in less than eight minutes: qualified.
After 08 minutes, you are disqualified.

Run 1.6 kilometers (for both firefighters and firefighter drivers)
If covered in 07 minutes or less: qualified.
After 07 minutes, you are disqualified.

High Jump: (For both firefighters and firefighters drivers)
1.22 meters is the qualifying height.
There will be three chances to qualify.

Broad Jump: (This applies to both Fireman and Fireman Driver)
3.66 meters is the minimum qualifying length.
There will be three chances to qualify.

Male candidates in general: 168 cm
Female candidates in general: 155 cm

Note:- Relaxation of the SC and ST by 5 cm.

Age Requirement for Firemen and Driver job
