Devaraj URS Housing Scheme 2023
Devaraj URS Housing Scheme is started in 2014-15 by the state government of Karnataka. The main motive to launch the scheme is to provide houses to the eligible le poor people of the state who are homeless. Citizens of the state who are poor and have less income apply for the scheme.
Beneficiary selected by the District Committee under the DC’s instructions. After the starting of the scheme in the years 2015-16, there are 5000 beneficiaries who get the advantages with the pacca house. And in 2016-17 14,206 houses are provided to the beneficiary. In 2027-18 there are 10817 beneficiaries who are getting a house under the Devaraj URS Housing Scheme.
So there are so many peoples who are already getting the benefits of the scheme. So for the year 2023 state government again restarts the Devaraj URS Housing Scheme. So eligible candidates apply for the scheme and get the benefits of the scheme.

Eligibility Criteria of Devaraj URS Housing Scheme
To get the benefits of the scheme state government decided on some eligible beneficiaries. Only the eligible candidates get the benefits of the scheme:-
- The applicant is a citizen of the Karnataka state.
- If the applicant is handicapped or has leprosy they are eligible.
- Families who are affected by HIV are eligible.
- Devadasis and nomadic tribes’ families are eligible under the scheme.
- Public disturbances families are also eligible under the scheme.
- Widows of the state are eligible.
- People who are living and sleeping on footpaths are eligible under the scheme.
- Eligibility under the scheme is also for transgender people.
