YSR Jagananna Colonies Scheme 2023 Rural/Urban Land Distribution:- AP State government is going to launch AP Jagananna Colonies Scheme on 8 July 2020.
The Kadapa district administration is making all efforts for the launch of the Jagan Anna Colonies in the Pulivendula town on the scheduled date.
In this scheme, the state govt. will allocate 1 to 1.5 cents of land with documents to beneficiaries in urban and rural areas. Moreover, these colonies will also comprise of playgrounds and parts.
For the Andhra Pradesh Jagananna Colonies Scheme beneficiaries, the identified land will be given to them on their name. Along with this, each beneficiary will also get land documents that would permit them to construct homes.
The state govt. of Andhra Pradesh has also instructed banks to financially support beneficiaries and the development of lands should take place on war footing basis.It was also decided to distribute house sites to 26 lakh poor people on March 25 for which 43,141 acres have been earmarked.
YSR Colony Scheme
The minister said that ”pattas” would be registered in the names of the beneficiaries on a stamp paper. All the colonies would be named as Jagananna colonies Pathakam. The beneficiary will be given the right to mortgage the land within five years of being given the ”patta” in case of an exigency.
The beneficiary will also be given a legal entitlement to sell the land within five years in case of need, Venkataramaiah said. Andhra Pradesh government is going to launch AP YSR Jagananna Colonies Scheme on 8 July 2020.

The AP cabinet met on Wednesday at Velagapudi and minister Perni Nani briefed the media about the meeting.
The cabinet discussed about the land distribution for the poor. The YSRCP government is planning to allot lands for the poor from Telugu New Year i.e, Ugadi.
For this the government has gathered 43,141 acres of land across the state. “26,976 acres government land and 16,164 acres of private land from the all the thirteen districts was collected.
For the beneficiaries, this land will be given to them on their name with documents permitting to construct homes. YSR Housing Scheme is working inside the state.

We will also instruct banks to financially support beneficiaries and on war foot the development of lands should take place. The cabinet has unanimously decided to name these places as YSR Jagananna Colonies,” said minister Nani.

Key Points of Jagananna Colonies Pathakam
- Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to launch the scheme at Pulivendula on 8 July 2020, on the occasion of his father’s birth anniversary.
- It is stated that around 60,000 beneficiaries were identified in the entire district and another 10,000 applications are under consideration.
- AP govt. has proposed to allocate one-and-half cent of the land to each beneficiary in rural areas. Moreover, one cent of land in urban areas for constructing houses.
- A huge layout is being developed at Pulivendula in 255 acres of land which is the biggest layout in the district.
- Around 754 layouts with 95,549 plots were formed in the entire Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh.
