Karnataka state government has launched many schemes for the welfare of poor people of the state. Recently Karnataka government has announced a new scheme called Saandeepani Shisya Vetana Scheme 2023. Under this scheme, the Economically weakerBrahmin students will get Rs. 15,000 as a scholarship for further studies.

The Karnataka State Brahmin Development Board ( KSBDB ) has announced this welfare scheme for the poor Brahmins of the state. Under this scheme, the brilliant students of the poor Brahmin family will get this Scholarship benefits.

Eligibility criteria for Saandeepani Shisya Vetana Scheme
- The applicant who wants this scholarship must be a permanent citizen of Karnataka State.
- This scheme is only applicable for the brilliant students of Brahmin Families
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should not more than the government decision to give Scholarship for students.
- Applicant should have BPL ration card because this scheme is applicable on weaker section Brahmin students of matric and pre matric.
- Under this scheme Department of Concerned scheme will provide loan on subsidized interest rates for studies.

- Under this scheme, students will get scholarships for doing commendable in matric or pre-matric result.

The main objective to launch this scheme is to provide scholarship of rupees 15,000 to the students of the Brahmin community who did commendable in his/her studies.
The amount of scholarship will be rupees 15,000 to the Brahmin students.
