Madhu Babu Pension Yojana is a scheme launched by the Government of Odisha. The scheme was launched by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik with the objective of providing financial help to the destitute. So far, about 47 lakh people have been benefited from this pension scheme. Steps are being taken by the Odisha government to make Madhu Babu Pension Yojana List more accessible so that the number of beneficiaries reaches 50 lakhs.

Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik announced the pension scheme under Madhu Babu Pension Yojana New List while also offering financial assistance to 40,000 artists under Mukhya Mantri Kalakar Sahayata Yojana.The rate of pension is Rs 300 per month per beneficiary up to the age of 79 years and Rs 500 for 80 years and above.The artist pension scheme, which was launched in January this year, provides Rs 1,200 per month to artists working for popularising and spreading art and culture of Odisha.Madhubabu Pension Yojana List

Madhubabu Pension Yojana List Madhu Babu Pension Scheme was launched by the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Odisha in January 2008 for the first time. This scheme is merger of two pension schemes name Revised Old Age Pension Rules, 1989 and Disability Pension Rules, 1985. Old age people or PWD or Widows of the state can apply for this scheme. Under this scheme state government will provide a pension to the beneficiaries. This scheme is beneficial for approximate 50 lakh applicants.

Madhu Babu pension yojana Eligibility
- The applicant’s family income should not exceed Rs. 24,000.
- The applicant should be a resident of Odisha.
- The applicant should be a widow of any age.
- Applicant should be diseased with leprosy and signs of deformity irrespective of age.
- The applicant should be above 5 years of age and may suffer from disabilities such as blindness, orthopedically handicapped, mentally retarded or cerebral palsy.
- The applicant can be a widow diagnosed with AIDS.
- Applicant can be an AIDS patient registered with the State/District AIDS Control Society.
- The applicant’s family income should not exceed Rs. 24,000 Madhubabu Pension Yojana List.

Disbursement of Pension
The beneficiary will get the pension amount on 15th of every month in cash. Disbursement of pension will be made by the BDO or any officer subordinate to BDO (in a rural area) in Gram Panchayat office and by DSSO or any officer subordinate to DSSO at the municipal office in the urban area.

This scheme can be applied both online and offline. To apply offline, you will have to go to the office of Block Development Officer or the Executive Officer of Municipality / NAC.
- First, visit ssepd.gov.in/
- When you go down on the homepage of the website, you have to click on the link of “Apply for Schemes“.
- Now a new page will open in front of you. Here you have to select “Madhu Babu Pension Yojana” in the Choose Scheme section and click on “Proceed”.
- After this, an application form will open in front of you on your computer and mobile screen.
- Here, by selecting the category of pension, you have to enter the information of father/husband name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, Aadhar number, district, subdivision, address, and social category, etc.
- Along with this, you will have to upload Aadhar card scan copy, thumb impression or signature and recent passport size image in the form.
- Now read the declaration given in the form carefully and mark all the boxes and “Submit”.
