With the help of this unique ID card, farmers can take benefit of different government schemes without any middleman. This initiative will also decrease the number of frauds that are held with farmers.

The scheme is related to farmers. Birsa Kisan Yojana is a part of Birsa gram Vikas Yojana and krishak Pathshala. This initiative was started on the 15th of August by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

PIn this scheme the state government will release a budget of 50 crore rupees for the betterment of farmers. Farmers can take benefit from the scheme and improve their income.

All the farmers who belong to agriculture, horticulture, Pashupalan, fish farming can take benefit of this scheme. The scheme will also help farmers to use new and upgraded agricultural tools that can increase their production and also increase their income.

बिरसा किसान योजना झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री श्री हेमंत सोरेन द्वारा शुरू की गई एक नई योजना है. इस योजना के अंतर्गत झारखंड सरकार सभी किसानों को एक यूनिक आईडी कार्ड प्रदान करेगी. जिससे कि सरकार के पास एक अलग डेटाबेस तैयार किया जाएगा जो कि आगे आने वाले समय में किसानों के लिए बहुत जरूरी होगा.

इस यूनिक आईडी कार्ड का सबसे प्रमुख लाभ यह है कि किसानों को मिलने वाले लाभ बिचौलियों के हाथ में ना आकर सीधा किसानों के खाते में जमा होंगे. सहायता राशि जो के पहले पंचायतों एवं अधिकारियों के द्वारा दी जाती थी, अब वह सीधी किसानों के बैंक खाते में डीबीटी के माध्यम से जमा होगी. इसके अलावा किसान इस योजना के अंतर्गत नए उपकरण, नई कृषि तकनीक एवं नए बीजों की जानकारी प्राप्त कर पाएंगे.

On the order of the chief minister agriculture Department start adding farmer names to the beneficiary list. According to Government, this scheme will help 58 Lakh farmers all over the state.

Key features of Birsa Kisan Scheme

• Under Birsa Kisan Scheme, the government will generate a unique ID card. This card will be generated after the registration of the farmer.
• Farmers who want to register for this scheme have to carry their Aadhaar card with them.
• Only one bank account will be linked to one phone number that you want to register.
• The facility of direct bank transfer (DBT) is available for one bank account.
• Enrollment of farmers will be held in Pragya Kendra. In enrollment, the farmer can do their KYC with the help of an Aadhar card.
• At the time of enrolment, farmers have to provide all the regarding land. Land details are available on the revenue department website.

Birsa Kisan Unique ID Card

After the enrollment process farmer will get Birsa Kisan’s unique ID card. This card is only applicable in Jharkhand and is used to take benefit of government schemes.

District agricultural officers can use this Unicode for different government schemes like seed and farm equipment information. You can also get information regarding government programs and benefits with the help of this barcode.

This barcode is located on different servers with different databases. It will help the government to maintain data and which farmers get benefits from a particular scheme.
