Bangla Shashya Bima Scheme (BSB) is a scheme for farmers that was launched by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Bangla Shashya Bima Scheme 2019 is to be launched in collaboration with the Agriculture Insurance Company (AIC) of India.

Farmers will not have to pay any premium amount to avail the Bangla sasya bima scheme benefits. On behalf of the farmers, the state govt. will bear the Bangla shasya bima crop insurance premium.

The plan and implementation of the scheme will be Supervised by Agriculture Department of West Bengal.

Bangla Shasya Bima Yojana

It will be launched with collaboration of Agriculture Insurance Company of India. The farmers do not need to pay any premium amount to get the beneficiary of the scheme.

The state government will pay the premium amount of the crop on behalf of the farmer. The beneficiary of the scheme that is the insurance will be covered in four stages.

The amount to be provided as the beneficiary will be calculated as per the fertile field that the farmer have in hectare.

Key Points of Bangla Sasya Bima Yojana

1. It is a crop insurance scheme that is created for the farmers of the state.
2. The scheme is provided by the Agriculture Insurance Company of India.
3. The authority will analyze the result as the first implementation is considered as the pilot implementation. If the result is effective enough then the scheme will be implemented for the remaining districts.

9. The CM said that the insurance money will be provided in four stages. If the farmer experience damage during sowing the government will give the first insurance coverage. The remaining three will be given if the farming gets hampered during cultivation and post harvest period.

1. Open the Main Website of the Department of Agriculture, Government of West Bengal
2. Now you need to click registration option given right hand side of the page
3. Enter the details as asked on the screen such as stakeholder, stakeholder type, user roles, email, name, mobile number etc.
4. Tick the checkbox appears on the screen with an acceptance message
5. Click the “signup” option and your registration has been created
6. Now fill the rest details in the application form
7. Submit the application form and must take print of the form

Bangla Shasya Bima Yojana Application Status

1. After submitting the enrollment form, applicants can check the status of their registration through the authorized portal.
2. Once the candidate gets to the homepage, the fourth option from the left is marked as “Application Status.”
3. Candidates must click on this option and then they will get to another page.
4. There is a field, where a candidate needs to type in his application number.
5. Then he must click on the “Search” button.
6. It will trigger the site to search the database and will flash the registration application status on the screen.
