The government of Maharashtra has recently announced a scheme called Panjabrao Deshmukh Yojana 2023. This scheme a student welfare scheme for Maharashtrians. Under this scheme, Financial assistance will be provided to students who live in government or private institutions’ hostels in different places in Maharashtra.

Documents required for Panjabrao Deshmukh Yojana

Panjabrao Deshmukh Yojana eligibility criteria
- Students should belong to Maharashtra for taking the Benefits of this scheme.
- The student’s parents must be registered farmers or laborers.
- Only the students who belong to economically weaker sections families whose annual Income should not be more than 8 lacs.
- This scheme is applicable for the students who are doing higher studies such as any technical degree or graduation or post-graduation.
- Students who want to apply for this scheme are not taking Benefits of any other Bhatta scheme in Maharashtra.
- Only two children of one family can apply for this scheme.
- The students who are doing their further studies after the gap of two years will not able to take benefit of this scheme.
- Only the students who live in a hostel can apply for Panjabrao Deshmukh Yojana.
Benefits of Panjabrao Deshmukh Scheme
There are many benefits of this scheme, to know about the benefits check below :
- Under this scheme students who studied in metro cities such as Mumbai and Pune, they will get financial assistance of rupees 3000/- for 10 months, so the total amount would be rupees 30,000/- per annum. There will be no Financial assistance for two months because of the holidays.
- The students who studied in other cities will get rupees 2,000/- per month for 10 months, which will be rupees 20,000/- per annum.
- This Scholarship will be provided to families with children whose annual income should not be more than 8 lacs.
- Under this scheme, those parents who are poor and registered laborers will get some help because of this scholarship for their children.
Panjabrao Deshmukh Yojana Apply Online
If you want to apply for Panjabrao Deshmukh Yojana, you need to Registration into the official portal :
- Please visit the official website of the PanjabraoDeshmukhYojana.
- Now on the home page select the option New Registration.
- Now do your registration with your Aadhar Card.
- Answer the question, do you have Aadhar Card, select Yes, if you have Aadhar Card, and click on the continue button.
- Then select Authentication Type: choose OTP if your mobile number is registered with your Aadhar number, and choose biometric if your Aadhar number is not connected with your mobile number.
- Now click on all declaration boxes if you are ready to share all your details with the Maharashtra State government.
- Now you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number.
- Enter this OTP in your registration form and click on the continue button.
- Now, after that create your user name and password and confirm your password and fill captcha code and click on the Register button.
- Now you will get a message on your screen that ‘ Profile Created Successfully.

Note: Now you can log in with your user name and password if you want to apply for any of the schemes. By login into this portal, you can update your profile.
You can also change your password if you have forgotten your password by entering your mobile number, on your mobile number you will get an OTP, enter this OTP and your password will be changed.
