Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has started a scheme named Indira Rasoi Yojana. This Rasoi will provide food on very cheap prices so that poor people and taxi drivers and labors can eat good food in suitable prices. Government of Rajasthan will spend Rs. 100 crore every year for this scheme.
Rajasthan Government launch this scheme because they want that no can sleep empty stomach in their state. This scheme is based upon Vasundhara Raje’s Annpurna Rasoi Scheme. The cost of quality food will be Rs. 8/- per plate and government will pay for this Rs. 12/- per plate. Food will be given to people from 8 am to 1.00pm and dinner will be given to people from 5.00pm to 8:00pm.

- People who want to take advantage of this scheme should be permanent resident of Rajasthan.
- Applicants should be belonged to poor and economically weaker families.
