The announcement of the entitled schemes has been made by the Andhra Pradesh government in Budget. Both the PMAY YSR Weaker Sections Housing Scheme and YSR Urban Housing Scheme known as YSR Illa Sthalalu will help in improving the condition of people living in the poor sections of society. For effective implementation of both schemes, the state government has already allotted a number of rupees 2280 crore.

However, other than the entitled ones, other schemes such as Mid-Day Meal, Free Power Supply, Amma Vodi, and the like have been introduced by the state government. After the new government has been formed by the YSR Jagan party, this YSR Illa Sthalalu scheme is brought up as YSR Gruha Vasathi Scheme for economically weaker sections. Illa Sthalalu eligibility criteria

  1. People living in urban areas with annual income level 1,44,000 and the people living in rural areas with annual income below 1,20,000 are eligible under this scheme.

  3. A person holding a government job in the family or a person living with the pension provided by the government will not fall under this scheme.
  4. A person having his own four-wheel vehicle will not fall under this program.

  6. The applicants consuming less than 300 units of power monthly are eligible for this scheme.
  7. Should be a permanent resident of the state of Andhra Pradesh.
