Telangana Government TS Free Moped Scheme 2023 Palm Toddy Tappers Registration, Beneficiary list
Telangana government recently announces a new scheme that is Telangana free Moped scheme for Palm Toddy Tappers. In this scheme state government planning to distribute 200000 mopeds for beneficiaries.
For each of the beneficiaries, will get a Moped having an average cost of 60000 rupees. The government is going to plan a budget of 1200 crore rupees Especially for this scheme.
Telangana Moped Scheme
In the initial phase of the TS Free Moped Scheme, 15000 toddy tappers will get mopeds. At the announcement of this scheme excise minister V. Srinivas Goud said that the government is going to spend approximately 90 crore rupees in this financial year.
The proposal for the scheme is already prepared and this will be sent to both backward community welfare and excise department. Now, this proposal will be passed from the cabinet, and then it will implement in all over the Telangana state.

According to the news, this scheme will be pass in the next Cabinet meeting. Now the officials are ready to design a two-wheeler that is useful for toddy tappers.

In the second phase of the Telangana Moped scheme which is started in Huzurabad, its budget is approximately 6000 rupees. CM KCR Rao also announces the toddy tappers Insurance Scheme and their family members. Inter scheme if any beneficiary died accidentally or face permanent disability then he is eligible for the insurance amount.
One of the other schemes for Nayee or Brahmins hair salon, in which they will get free electricity and also financial support for their hairdressing salon. In Telangana state, there is a huge community of backward classes after Yadav’s and Madirajs, Tody tappers. Telangana state government tries to help those communities with these schemes.

- In this scheme Palm Toddy Tappers beneficiaries will get a free Moped for their daily use.
- Under this scheme 200000 mopeds will be distributed by Telangana state government.
- Each Moped cost 60000 rupees for government, and these will be distributed free of cost.
- For Telangana free Moped scheme government will spend approximately 1200 crore rupees.
- In the initial First phase of this scheme, free mopeds will be distributed to approximately 15,000 Palm Toddy Tappers, which is approximately 90 crore rupees.
Eligibility Criteria for Moped Scheme
- Anyone who want to avail the benefit of Telangana free Moped scheme should be permanent resident of state.
- This scheme is only for Palm Toddy Tappers. So the other community people are not eligible for this scheme.
- This scheme is implemented phase-wise all over the state. In the initial phase 15,000 beneficiaries will be selected for Moped distribution.
