Objective of This Scheme

The main objective of the Andhra Pradesh Government behind this scheme is to help the poor girl by providing financial support, abolish child marriages and protect the bride by registering the marriage.

Eligibility Criteria of Pelli Kanuka

1. Applicants must be permanent resident of AP state
2. beneficiaries should be at least 18 years old (at the time of applying for this yojana)
3. Income – Family annual income less than ₹ 2 lakh (from all sources).
4. Applicant should belong to category from EWS of society.
5. Only girls candidates eligible for this yojana.

How to Apply for Pelli Kanuka Scheme

To apply for the Pelli kanuka scheme, you need to follow the simple steps given below:-

1. First, visit the official website of the scheme given.
2. Download the application form available on the official website.
3. Enter all of the details.
4. Upload all the documents mentioned above.
5. Click on submit
6. For Rural Area Citizens- Registrations shall be made at least (5) calendar days before the date of marriage. The Registrations can be performed from Registration-Cum-Help Desks at the Mandal Mahila Samakhyas / Velugu Office for Rural Area citizens
7. For Urban Area Citizens- Registrations shall be made at least (5) calendar days before the date of marriage. The Registrations can be performed from Registration-Cum-Help Desks at the MEPMA Municipality for Urban Area citizens.

YSR Pelli Kanuka Status

1. Once the YSR Pelli Kanuka application form submitted, then check the status of the Pelli Kanuka application after 3-5 days on the date of registration date.
2. If candidates see “Your Application Approved – Means YSR Pelli Kanuka Payment will be credited in bank account within 7 days”, you will get confirmation.
3. If “YSR Pelli Kanuka Application rejected”, check the Why application is rejected and resubmit with the required document.
