Hello Friends. Telangana government announced Double Bedroom (2BHK) Housing Scheme 2023 Plans Apply for online registration.
Telangana Chief Minister KCR Introduced TS double bedroom Scheme 2023 for Backward people who are struggling BPL beneficiaries to get 2 BHK homes with an area of 560 sq. ft. 2BHK housing scheme in Telangana state has been launched with its primary focus of helping the family living in the lower strata of the society.
As per the Project rules, it will give housing benefits to the poor families belonging to ST, SC, and other backward sections of the society. Beneficiaries working under the entitled scheme will get 560 square foot homes amounting to 5 to 9 lakh for free of cost.
From a total of rupees 18000 crore amount allotted under this whole project, the state government has already given rupees 3230 for the improvement of the project. Read below to know more about the entitled scheme.
TS Double Bedroom Scheme 2023
Telangana TS Double bedroom Scheme 2023 (2BHK Housing Scheme) is little different from the Central government housing scheme. As in this project State government of Telangana provides houses for free. These houses are been build to provide dignity to the poor people. Thus TS state government provides 100% subsidy on housing in this scheme.
Beneficiaries of the scheme do not have to offer any type of contribution in order to avail the house. As poor people who are living in rural areas are mostly depended on the seasonal earnings and thus this TS Double Bedroom Scheme 2023 does not want to trap them in any kind of debt trap.
Telangana 2BKH Housing Scheme

Telangana 2BHK scheme Eligibility Criteria
- Owns a house any where in the Urban areas and Urban agglomerations in the State of Telangana.
- The income does not fall within the income ceiling limits fixed by A.P. Housing Board from time to time for the different categories.
- The income is the aggregate personal income regularly derived by the applicant at the time of application.
- Lots are drawn in case the numbers of applications received are more than number of houses notified.
- RESERVATIONS: Quota of reservations is followed in the matter of allotment of houses.

- Download the application form.
- After downloading the form, fill the form with all correct details with name, Aadhaar card, Voter Id card, Ration card etc.
- After filling all details in form and submit it to MeeSeva or Gram Sabha centre of your locality.
- Upload all the documents needed.

The application form status updates are available to send a message to the applicant’s contact number. After the application, you can see the acknowledgement paper with an application number. Scheme Selection Procedure Step via Step
- The villages for coverage of 2BHK will be selected by the District level committee as per the GO Ms. No.10, Housing (RH&C.A1) Dept, dt.15.10.2015 and selection of beneficiaries as per GO Ms No 12 Housing (RH&C.A1) Dept, dt.26.11.2015.
- The applications are called for 2BHK from eligible beneficiaries as per the schedule given by the District Collectors and same will be collected during Gram Sabha by the designated officer.
- The preliminary scrutiny will be done at Gram Sabha to arrive at actual eligible and prepare a list accordingly and forwarded to Tahsildar of that mandal for thorough verification of beneficiaries.
- The Tahsildar after thorough verification and vetting list of applicants, will submit the eligible final list of applicants to the District Collector.
- As per the schedule given by the District Collector, the list verified by the Tahsildar will be again placed in the Gram Sabhas for its final approval.
- The list finalized by Gram Sabha will be approved by the District Collector and will be made available to public. In case of any complaints, they will get enquired by the District Level Officer, nominated by the District Collector and findings will be placed before the Appellate Committee and the orders passed by the Committee will be treated as final.
