Madhya Pradesh government is going to start MP Rojgar Setu Yojana 2021 for skilled migrant labourers. All the returning migrant workers will be able to apply by filling the Migrant Labourers Online Application / Registration Form at MP Rojgar Setu Yojana Portal. The state govt. will prepare a skill register of migrants to provide them with employment opportunities. The state govt. will provide jobs to around 10 to 13 lakh unemployed migrant labourers who are displaced from their working state due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has issued directions to the officials to provide work to returning migrants on a fast track basis. Moreover, short term planning and long term planning would be made to provide job security to skilled migrant labourers. This would be done by the launch of MP Rojgar Setu Yojana. For unskilled workers, govt. has already started Shram Siddhi Abhiyan.

The main aim is to link the skilled migrant labourers with the employers (job providers). As a part of short term planning, govt. has taken data from panchayats and regularize migrant workers in construction, industries, factories and other businesses.

In the time of Corona crisis, workers are facing the worst disaster, in such a situation the employment problem has arisen for them, many people have become unemployed during the time of Corona crisis, which has also weakened their economic condition. In view of this condition, Madhya Pradesh has announced to start the employment bridge scheme to provide employment to the workers.  

Due to COVID-19, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has launched the Employment Setu Yojana to provide employment to the workers of the state. Under this scheme, the beneficiaries returning from other states in the state will be given jobs according to their merit. In this, the skilled laborers and siblings will get the benefit of this scheme so that their life car runs properly. ” A list of these workers has been made since May 27, according to which the work of registration has also started. Due to Corona, more than 5 lakh migrant laborers working in other states of the country have returned to Madhya Pradesh. These services will be provided employment in the state itself, so that their economic aspect can be strengthened in times of crisis. In this scheme, a labor platform has been made, in which the kind of work the workers know will be employed in that work.  

Madhya Pradesh Rojgar Setu Yojana 2021

Madhya Pradesh govt. will start MP Rojgar Setu Yojana 2021 to provide information of skilled migrant workers and employers on a single platform. Here are the important details of the Rozgar Setu Scheme in the MP state. Lockdown was necessary in view of the Corona virus in the country, but the workers of India had to suffer the most from this. Crores of migrant laborers were on the streets, where they violated the lockdown to go home due to lack of food.

 Many claims were made by the states to take care of these laborers, but in front of politics all the work done for the laborers was useless. Now, where many petitions in the Supreme Court have been fixed for the migrant laborers and the accountability of the Center has been fixed, some states are coming forward to work for the laborers. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has prepared a scheme for his people in the state, in which employment will be given to those who have become unemployed. 

Migrant Workers Skill Register at Rojgar Setu Portal

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has issued directions to prepare MP Migrant Labourers Skill Register on a panchayat wise basis. This Migrant Workers Skill Register will contain the details about the skills as well as other information. The information present at the Rojgar Setu Portal will include personal details, educational qualifications, skills, earlier job, previous salary, previous employers, expected monthly salary and interested area of working of migrants.

Madhya Pradesh govt. will upload all the details on the MP Rojgar Setu Yojana Portal for ease of employers finding suitable working personnels. At this portal, employers can access the complete information of registered migrant labourers which would be made available to them. These job providers can then select the migrant workers as per their skills and requirement. The micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME sector) will play an important role in providing jobs.

The returning migrant workers are primarily coming from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Karnataka and Rajasthan states.

MP Rojgar Setu Yojana Benefits

• The permanent people of Madhya Pradesh will get the benefit of employment bridge scheme.
• This scheme will provide employment to labor wagers in the state.
• This scheme has been launched in the time of Corona crisis.
• Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will get work to the best of their ability.

• All the IDs will be generated for workers whose IDs are not worn in the state.   
• To give the benefit of this scheme, the secretary of Gram Panchayat and ward in-charge in urban areas will assist the beneficiaries in filling the survey form.

•  Under this scheme, the beneficiaries will get work under MNREGA.  
• Apart from this, free food grains will also be available to the beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana.
• The salary of the beneficiaries will be transferred to their bank account.    

Rojgar Setu Yojana MP Registration Samagra Portal

As a part of the long term planning to provide employment of returning migrants, Madhya Pradesh govt. will start MP Rojgar Setu Yojana Portal. All the Skilled Migrant Labourers will have to fill MP Rojgar Setu Yojana online application / registration form to enroll themselves. The application process for this scheme has not been started yet. As soon as the online application process for workers will start, we will update it here. Till then, read the registration process for Rozgar Setu Scheme:-

• Migrant workers who are native to Madhya Pradesh, who do not have a composite ID, ID will be generated on the overall portal as per the due process. Only after this, survey, verification and registration of these workers will be ensured by mentioning the overall ID on the portal.
• According to the instructions issued, it will be mandatory to mark the overall ID and Aadhaar card number on the portal. Survey, verification and registration will be done only for those workers who are eligible for registration in ‘Mukhyamantri Jan Kalyan (Sambal) Yojana’ or ‘Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board’.

• Instructions have been given to upload information on the prescribed survey form from eligible migrant workers on the portal before 3 June 2020 and keep the survey form safe on record. Secretary of Gram Panchayat and ward in-charge in urban areas will ensure the assistance of the applicant in filling the survey form.
• All these actions will be taken under the guidance of the District Collector. The Chief Executive Officer for the rural area, the Chief Municipal Officer for the urban area and the corporation commissioner in the municipal corporations will be the authorized officers.
