Punjab Affordable Housing Scheme 2023

Department of Punjab Housing and Urban Development Minister Aman Arora announced the Punjab Affordable Housing Scheme 2023 on 15 October. Under the scheme, all citizens of Punjab belonging to lower-middle and lower-income families are getting benefits from this scheme.

Government can provide them with houses in the real estate sector in Punjab. Government starts its work on the scheme very soon.

Under the scheme minimum area for the plotted colony is fixed at 5 acres. The 2 acres area is for the group of the house under the scheme. Under the scheme, the government provides the plots at reasonable rates. These plots are a saleable area which is an increase of 65%.

On the other hand, normal colonies are providing these plots at 55%. All the planning for these plots is under government planning.

PUDA is situated in 1995 in the month of July. It is an Apex institution that is made for the development of balanced urban growth in the Punjab state.
