Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrashekar Rao has announced a new scheme named TS KCR Kit Scheme. This is a welfare scheme launched by the chief minister of Telangana. Under this scheme government will provide a combo kit for new mothers and newborn babies.
There will be items for newborn babies and mothers in these kits. In this scheme, the government will provide all these items kit to babies till they turned three months old.

Under this scheme, pregnant ladies will also get Financial assistance from the time they will have to pregnant. Pregnant women will get rupees 12,000/- in three Installments of rupees, 4,000/-, the first installment of this financial assistance will be provided when women will get pregnant and the second installment will be provided after delivery and the third installment will be provided by the baby Vaccination time.
If woman will give birth to a girl child they will get extra rupees 1,000/-. The government of Telangana has sanctioned a budget of rupees 605 crores for the implementation of this scheme in the state. Read this full article to know more about this scheme.

Who is Eligible for KCR Kit
To take benefits of this scheme you would have to follow the Eligibility Criteria given below:-
- Pregnant women should belong to any district of Telangana.
- The women who were the mothers of two children before and this is their third pregnancy can not take benefit of this scheme.
- Women should have all necessary documents such as residential proof, aadhar card details, bank account details, etc.
- Only those women will get benefits from this scheme who will deliver their child to the government.

Follow the simple steps to apply for this scheme:-
- A pregnant woman will need to go to the nearest PHC ( Primary Health Care ) centers.
- You can contact your nearest government hospital to apply for this scheme.
- You can also be told your nearest Asha worker to register you for taking the benefits of this scheme.
- Now give your all details to DEO or ANM such as the Name of the Pregnant woman, Age, Aadhar Card Details, Bank account Details, Permanent Address, Mobile Number, Email Address, and Last date of period.
- You have to fill all these details into the official portal of the scheme www.kcrkit.telangana.gov.in
- Now after verifying all details hit the tab submit.
