ICMR STS Registration 2023

All the students who want to apply for ICMR STS Registration 2023 can apply online. The complete details about this short Term scholarship, its benefits, and eligibility criteria are in this article.

So as we have been told that this scholarship is announced by The Indian Council of Medical Research. This STS (Short Term Scholarship) will be for the students of MBBS and BDS. So all the interested and eligible students can register for the same from 21 January to 11 February. And online application submission will start from 21 January to 21 February.

The result of this scholarship program will be declared in April last or the first week of May. Around 1500 students will be selected for this STS Scholarship of which 1200 MBBS students and 300 BDS students will get this scholarship. This scholarship can be increased by 25,000/- per month for two months. So all willing candidates can visit the official website of ICMR STS. So all future doctors can avail the benefits of this scheme.

Eligibility for ICMR STS Scholarship

So students who are pursuing MBBS and BDS from recognized MCI and DCI are eligible to apply for this scholarship.
Students who are doing interning and PG can not apply for this scholarship.
Students with OCI and PIO cards and NRI who are studying in Indian Medical Dental Colleges can also apply for ICMR STS. They have to submit the copy of their OCI or PIO card at the time of registration.
This scholarship is only for MBBS and BDS students so other professional students do not apply for this scholarship.
Candidates who are doing MBBS and BDS from out of country can not apply for this scholarship.
ICMR consider One guide for one student.
Two students can not apply for same research or study.
If two students will apply for same research it will be not acceptable by ICMR STS.

Benefits of ICMR STS Registration

Under this scholarship scheme around 1500 students will be selected. 1200 MBBS students and 300 BDS students will selected under this scholarship scheme.
This scholarship amount will be 10,000/- per month. Students will get 20,000/- for two months.
So this scholarship will be given to the students for doing research.
This studentship will be given only if students will complete their research and approved in final report.
Those colleges will take the responsibility of expenses where this research will be done.
Students can get certificate via post within 6 to 8 months after the final report.

Terms and Conditions For ICMR STS

Before applying for this studentship, it is necessary to read all the terms and conditions on the official website of the ICMR STS.

Official will not select the candidates basis on clinical trial protocol.
STS scholarship program is online program. So students can only apply online for STS.
Proposal should be approved by IEC and IAEC.
ICMR will not accept delayed applications submission. So do same before last date and time.
One candidate can submit one proposal with a guide.
Fill application form with appropriate information. Your proposal will be rejected in case of false information.
You can not transfer your studentship to another.
Only after approved STS reports, official will pay scholarship to aspirants.
ICMR can reject incomplete applications.
Aspirants can also reapply for same project in case of unable to complete the STS project. It will be acceptable as new application.

With this login id and password you can apply for STS Proposal.
You can login with your user id and password.
Enter your details and upload the scanned copies of all the necessary documents those needed to apply for STS proposal.
If your proposal will be approved your name will be appeared in the final result on the website.
You have to wait till 48 hours after registration for conformation massage.

For checking your result of STS 2023 result you have to visited the official website of ICMR STS sts.icmr.org.in.
Here on the home page you have to select the option Result from the top left of the home page.
After clicking on the option you will get a new web page.
Where you can select STS 2023 result.
A PDF file will be opened.
