Benefits of Himayat Scheme
- This is a government-driven program in which youth will get skill training program.
- This whole program will be working under the Ministry of Rural Development, and they will implement this program in both technical and financial ways.
- Under Himayat scheme especially targeting rural BPL youth. Under this scheme youth from rural and urban areas belonging to the BPL non-BPL category will get the benefit of this scheme.
- In this program there are 100000 students will be covered with competent training from the private sector as well as nonprofit organizations.
- This scheme benefit will be divided into two components. The first component is the training of the youth for salaried employee mint and self-employment training. 70% of the funds will be e given for training of youth for all salaried employee ID and 30% of the funds will be allotted for self-employment training.
- Trained youth will get placement in the organized sector in which they will get situation minimum wage.
