Under Gram Ujala Yojana, the people of Bihar will be able to buy maximum of 5 LED bulbs. For these 5 LED bulbs you have to pay only 50 rupees. As all, you know that if you buy these bulbs from any shop in the market, you have to paid a minimum amount of rupees 500/-. So you can save your money by buying these bulbs under Gram Ujala Yojana.One family can only buy 5 bulbs, so the government has distributed around 52 lacs bulbs.
So around every state has been benefited from this scheme. But now 5 states including Bihar are getting benefits under Gram Ujala Scheme. More than 2500 villages of these five states will be benefited from Gram Ujala Yojana.
The government has planned to fulfill this program till March 2022. This distribution will be done by CESL. These LED bulbs will be 7 Watt and 12 Watt. These bulbs will be given with a guarantee of three years. If these bulbs will be spoiled before three years, you can replace these bulbs.
