Even before the final selection, there are many rounds and then the final selection takes place. There are 18 candidates who finally get the chance to perform on the stage to showcase their talent to the country and world.

These 18 talented dancers will be judged by every dance form and type. They would have to perform in solo dance form, duel dance performance, and group dance performance to impress the judges. Format Of Dance India Dance

So all the dancers who will be selected have to give an audition in two steps. Firstly the makers will take an open audition and others will be a Mega Audition for those who will be selected in open auditions.

So open auditions can be taken in popular cities in India. Where anyone can go and give auditions. These cities will be big cities of India such as Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and many more. Dancers will be judged by masters in these auditions and they will get Taqdeer ki Topi for going to the next round of auditions. But for going to the next level of the DID they have to impress auditions masters.

After that second stage will be the Mega Auditions. In Mega Auditions, all the top 100 will be judged by Three Mentors and Judges of the Show. They will choose these Top contestants by seeing their dance Versatility, Dance forms, and expressions. From this Mega Audition, top 36 will be chosen and after that top 18 will go further and compete for the trophy.

Eligibility Criteria for DID Season 8

Please fulfill the given eligibility criteria to go and compete for the trophy of Dance India Dance 2021 ( DID)-

The contestant should belong to India.
The contestant should be an expert dancer and he should be versatile.
The contestant should have a clear image and he/she should not involve in any criminal activity.
The age of the contestant should be lied in between 15 to 30 years.
He / She should have all the identity proofs.
If anyone could not satisfy his / her document verification he/she would be disqualified instantly.
The contestant should be physically and mentally fit for the show.
Contestants have to come with a song CD. On which he /she will perform for auditions.

Judges of Dance India Dance

So basically in every season, there are three judges who judge the show. In the 1st to 6th seasons, Mithun Chakravarti was the Grand Judge of the show. Geeta Kapoor, Terance Lewis, Remo D’souza, Madhuri Dikshit, Shilpa Shetty, and Nora Fatehi were also judged for some time.

There have been 7 seasons successfully completed and in these seasons many judges have judged this show. This show is coming on the Zee TV channel from the day it has been started.

For auditions registration, you can visit the official website of Zee TV and accept all terms and conditions to go to the next level for this online Registration procedure.
If the contestant is a minor then parents can submit an online registration form.
After filling out the whole form asking for details, you have to upload a dance video.
So after uploading the video you can submit your registration form.
You will be notified by SMS or email on the given mobile number and email address after being shortlisted for the ground auditions.
