Chirag Paswan name is in news more nowadays because he has decided to campaign for his father’s Lok Jan Shakti Party for the coming Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2014. Earlier Chirag Paswan’s name came to the limelight especially for the people of Bihar when he made his Bollywood debut as a lead actor in the Hindi movie Miley Naa Miley Hum Tum.

Though that movie didn’t do that well at the box office, but people came to know about Chirag Paswan, son of Ram Vilas Paswan. He made his Bollywood debut in a romantic drama opposite not one but three leading ladies Kangana Ranaut, Neeru Bajwa, and Sagarika Ghatge. Notwithstanding the film failed at the box office, thereby ending his Bollywood career.

दोस्तों 31 अक्टुबर 1982 में श्री चिराग पासवान जी का जन्म हुआ। ये बचपन से ही विलक्षण प्रतिभा के मेधावी छात्र थे। श्री चिराग पासवान को मम्मी-पापा और परिवार का प्यार प्राप्त हुआ लेकिन लाड़-प्यार के बावजूद इनके बचपन बहुत अनुशासन में बिता जिसके कारण विद्यालय में शिक्षा ग्रहण करने के दौरान ही युनिसेफ द्वारा आयोजित आल इंडिया टैलेंट शिप प्रतियोगिता में पुरे भारत में सातवे स्थान पर अपनी जगह बनाई जिसके कारण बहुत कम उम्र में ही विश्व भ्रमण का मौका मिला और तत्कालीन प्रधानमंत्री जी द्वारा इन्हें पुरस्कृत किया गया इनकी शिक्षा वायु सेना की स्कूल एयर फोर्स गोल्डेन जुबली में हुई जिसके कारण इनका बचपन काफी कठोर एवं अनुशासित रहा।

स्कूल के जमाने से ही श्री चिराग पासवान जी को अच्छा वक्ता माना जाने लगा जिसके कारण स्कूल में आयोजित नाटकों में हिसा और बढ़-चढ़ कर लेने लगे। स्कूली शिक्षा खत्म करने के बाद उच्च शिक्षा के लिये कम्प्यूटर इंजीनियरिंग की पढ़ाई को चुन और इंजीनियरिंग करने के दौरान ही मुम्बई में फिल्म ‘‘मिले ना मिले हम‘‘ के द्वारा फिल्म जगत में शुरूआत की।

वही मुम्बई में काम के दौरान बिहारियों के प्रति लोगों के मन में भरे अपमान को देखकर इन्हें बहुत ग्लानि हुई और बिहारियों के प्रति अपमान ने इन्हें वहां लम्बे समय तक रहने नही दिया एवं बचपन से ही पिता जी के कार्यों को देखकर बड़े हुये श्री चिराग पासवान जी के ह्दय में भी बिहारियों के खोये हुये सम्मान को वापस दिलाने के लिये जीवन भर का एक मकसद मिल गया।
