If you are a chess lover, then this news is related and very special for you. Chess Olympiad 2023 is going to host in India Chennai Tamil Nadu state. FIDE Council recently a bead which is presented by all India chess federation, in which the demand to host chess Olympiad 2023 in Chennai city of Tamilnadu. The exact dates of the Chess Olympiad will be released soon.

According to rumors, the Chess Olympiad will be organized at the end of July or the beginning of August month. If we talk about the venue, it will be organized in the convention center at the Four Points by Sheraton, which is located in the Mahabalipuram area. This is the 44th edition of the Chess Olympiad, which is organized in Chennai Tamil Nadu. All India Chess federation already announced this Olympiad on their official Twitter handle.

If you want to register on the official website of the all-India chess federation (AICF), then you have to visit the official web portal:- https://aicf.in.

On the homepage, you will see the calendar section. When you place your cursor on it then you will see an online entry, click on it.
Now a new page will be open on your screen.
If you are not a member of AICF, then click on the register now button.
Now new registration page will be open on your screen.

This form fills in basic details like the first name, middle name, last name, email ID, mobile number, father or mother name, relationship, mother tongue, gender, date of birth, address, state, city, district name, and finally FIDE Number.
In the next section, you have to choose player type, are u a POI/OCI. Select your answer yes or no.
In the next part, you have to upload documents. In this upload passport size photograph and birth certificate.

Once cross-check your details then finally click on submit form button.

How to Participate in Chess Olympiad

In case you want to participate in any competition then you have to visit the online entry section:- prs.aicf.in/entry.
On this page firstly you have to choose the tournament you want to apply for.
Then enter the AICF ID Number.
In case you forgot your AICF ID Number, Then you can search for it.

After that, you have to select the registration type. In this, you to choose ordinary entry which is 1250 rupees, or special entry which is 6250 rupees.
In the next section, we have to upload the birth certificate.
Finally, click on proceed to the payment page. Then you will be redirected to the payment page.
After clicking on the pay now button, you have to select your bank and payment method. After successful payment, your entry will be successful.
