Update:- Effective January 1st, the entry fee to the Bannerghatta Zoo and safari has been increased by Rs 30 per person across all categories, according to the Zoo Authority of Karnataka (ZAK).
This marks the second fee hike since December 2019, as the ZAK is experiencing financial strain due to the economic fallout from the pandemic and the rising cost of animal feed. In response, the governing council of the ZAK has adjusted the fees, taking into consideration factors such as fuel expenses, feeding costs, establishment costs, and other recurring expenses, as outlined by an official.
