Every day thousands of devotees came to this temper and take Ambalapuzha Palpayasam with them for their loved ones. This initiative will be started soon by the temple authority. Plastic will take hundreds of years to decompose instead of paper will be decomposed in soil within a few days and do not harm our soil.

Recipe of Ambalapuzha Palpayasam

• Every day the cooking to be start at 6 a.m. Daily and it takes 6 hours to prepare PAYASAM.
• Firstly water is boiled in a big vessel for approximately 1 hour.
• Now milk has been added to that vessel.
• Now the milk is cooked very slowly till the water evaporated.
• When the complete water is disappear rice has been added for cooking.
• After some time when the rice is cooked completely and sugar is added to it.
• Every day Ambalapuzha Palpayasam is prepared for around 71 liters of milk, 284 liter of water, 9 kilos of rice, and 15.84 liters of sugar.
