Accordingly, Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubaarak Schemes have been introduced with effect from October 2, 2014, for unmarried girls, who have completed 18 years of age at the time of marriage and whose parental income does not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum. Rs 47 crore and Rs 32 crore were distributed to 9,368 SC and 6,483 ST brides respectively. Another Rs 50 crore was distributed to 10,533 brides from Minority sections.

Eligibility Criteria of this scheme

1. Girl should belong the minority community (Muslim Community).
2. The girl must be the resident of Telangana State.
3. The girl should have completed at least 18 years of age at the time of marriage. (Date of birth proofs shall be attached)
4. The wedding should be after October 2nd, 2014.
5. Castes which are eligible for ‘Shaadi Mubarak’ scheme are BC-A (Sl.No 39 & 51), BC-B (Sl.No 5), BC-C, BC-E and OC.
6. Income of girl’s parents should be less than Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) per annum

1. Applicants shall apply online for the Telangana “Shadi Mubarak” by accessing the website at the following site: http://epasswebsite.cgg.gov.in
2. Click on “Register” Button and Fill the necessary details in the application form
3. Upload Photograph of Bride-Groom, Age Proof Certificate, Bride’s Scanned Aadhar Copy, Bride Groom’s Scanned Aadhar Copy, Scanned Bank pass book
4. Now enter the Digital Code in the mentioned Box. then Click on “Submit”, After Submitting the application take print of Application, for future reference

Telangana Shaadi Mubarak Status

1. To check the Shaadi Mubarak Scheme application status for this scheme the one has to login again to the same website Telanganaepass.
2. Now click on the Print/Status option on right side of the portal.
3. After clicking the page open asking for the UID (Aadhar card Number) of bride and phone number of bride.
4. Click on get TS Shaadi Mubarak status and print and it will show you the status of your application.
